2009 Distinctive Rules * 2 extra hitters allowed (Not Mandatory)
* Base stealing is permitted, runner must wait until the pitched ball HITS SOMETHING beyond the plate. (No Lead-offs) Runners who leave early must go back, ball is dead. (Umpire's discretion) * ANY .44/375 core ball is legal, regardless of color or stitch. * All official softball bats are legal---EXCEPT for bats which have been banned from 2 or more associations. (Such as: ASA, NSA, USSSA, ISA, etc.) * One "Courtesy Runner" allowed for each team PER INNING. Must be the person who made the last out.
